Dr. Sean Moberg


Sean Moberg (email; BA, University of Michigan; MA, University of Notre Dame; PhD, The Catholic University of America, 2016) has since completing his PhD in Early Christian Studies taught theology at Marymount University, Greek at the John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family, and patristics courses at the Pappas Patristic Summer Institute.  His dissertation was entitled The Apophthegmata Patrum and the Greek Philosophical Tradition, and he is currently working on using that research as the basis for a larger project on monasticism and classical culture.  He has published short articles in Studia Patristica XCI, 2017 and Religious Studies Review 44.2, June 2018, and has a forthcoming article in Journal of Early Christian Studies 26.4, Winter 2018 as well as a chapter in an edited volume under review on the topic of divine ascent in the Desert Fathers.
