Classical Civilization

History, architecture, mythology, culture, archaeology, and art are essential to the study of the ancient world.  At CUA, faculty members engaged in research on topics as diverse as Egyptian statuary, Roman divination, and Greek burial practices help our students learn to integrate their work on ancient literature--whether in the ancient languages or in English translation--with their work on ancient life.

We even offer an undergraduate BA in Classical Civilization which emphasizes work in this area--and allows you to choose how much time you will spend with the ancient languages, whether a little or a lot.

Explore the links on the buttons below to learn more about studying ancient civilizations at CUA--and beyond!
