2009 Congratulations to the nine undergraduates who received their BAs at this year's May commencement, and to Dr. John Pepino, the department's newest PhD, who also formally received his degree that day! The department takes great pride in your accomplishments, and you will be missed. 1999 Dr. Marina Bazzani has won a Dumbarton Oaks Fellowship for 2008-09. She completed her MA in Greek and Latin at CUA in 1999, and then completed her DPhil at the University of Oxford, England. She is now a Research Lecturer in Classics and Faculty Lector at Oxford. Her topic at Dumbarton Oaks is "A Literary, Linguistic and Historical Analysis of the Poems of Manuel Philes." |
